It’s weird how different my life drawings are compared to my sketches. I am to carefull in lifedrawing for some reason, I think I just wanna make pretty drawings that’s all, well maybe it also because we do 10 minute poses, wich is waaaaaaaaaaaay to long if you ask me. Anyway here are some, it seems the legs on these are to short, need to focus on rythm more :
Hi everyone, here’s a little present for all of you animators out there:
Basicly this series “Acting and Drawing for Animation” was a lecture given at a Siggraph conference in 2004 by James Donlon, John Finnegan, Larry Lauria and Lucilla Hoshor. It consists of 2 parts actually. The first is a sorta workshop about movement and the second part is how to apply it to animation. Anyone interested in animation should really check this out.
Sadly these are streaming Quicktime media so you can only watch them online. But they are quite long (specialy the first one).

I honestly can’t take full credit for these drawings since they are like 90% based on modelsheets done by Emilie ( wich were just great, good job there). But I thought I’dd just post them here to. I wanted this guy to have a stronger jawline but we opted for more simplicity I guess, nevertheless I still think it gives allot more character. Anyway :

Someone needed this done by the end of the day, so I had 3 hours. It’s not to bad considering I only had 3 hours. Full 3d, with textures, bump maps, reflections, final gathering, all the geeky stuff 
To bad you can barely see it on this crappy youtube version.
His work on Delbert Doppler in Treasure Planet is just amazing. He actually won a Annie award for it I believe. Just watch and scrape you tongue off the ground afterwards:
