Not much to add

Thought I’dd show you guys what I’ve been up to lately. Apart from animating ( wich is going 2 slow I think), I’ve been developing my backgrounds. Here are some color boards for some of my scenes.

These are practicly all the same colors, but after the last one the mood of the story changes and they all become more saturated red, but not the photoshop kind of saturated red
Gouache on paper, around 2 to 3 inches wide ( and lots of fun )

Weirdest thing happend today.
I decided to go out, clear my mind. I went in to a second hand bookstore and strolled around for an hour or two, checking out art books and film books etc.
I actually found this book called ” Chuck Amuck by Chuck Jones” now I had thought of buying on Amazon but it would cost me around 30 euros and I already owned a DVD about C. Jones so I didn’t bother.

I looked at the price and it said 15 euros, so I bought it. But when I was at home I flipped through all the pages and the first page I flipped showed me this :

Now imagine that not only was this the the first print (in perfect condition ).
IT’S ALSO SIGNED
WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO
Lucky me right, imagine the odds, anyway this is a great book with some amazing drawings in it as well, thought I’d show you guys some of my favourites :

Just came back, had a blast. Now back to work
My trip down memory lane :

This just ruined my day, don’t you hate it when you buy a new type of pencil. You just want to try it out and then you get this :

This a Koh -I -Noor Hardmuth “Giaconda” Negro pencil, and for time I was able to use it, only like 10 drawings, I really like it. It’s almost as black as a Chinamarker but it shows less grain of the paper. Very nice. If it doesn’t brake like this one, grrrrrrrr
héhé, I uploaded my notes from yesterday. I did some study on the upper leg. Really interesting stuff, can’t wait to implement it into my drawings.
